재가공형 숏폼 영상 콘텐츠에 대한 인식이 원본 콘텐츠 저항의도에 미치는 영향: 이용 동기, 대체와 보완, 혁신, 규범 요인을 중심으로

Abstract

<p>최근 재가공형 숏폼 영상 콘텐츠가 유튜브를 중심으로 증가하고 있다. 특히 원본 콘텐츠를 무단으로 도용하여 제작하는 재가공형 숏폼 영상 콘텐츠는 저작권 침해와 같은 법적 문제를 야기하기도 한다. 본 연구는 재가공형 숏폼 영상 콘텐츠에 대한 이용자의 인식이 원본 콘텐츠 저항에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 예측 요인으로는 이용 동기, 대체 및 보완 가능성, 혁신, 규범 요인을 설정하였다. 원본과 재가공형 모두 이용한 경험이 있는 이들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시한 후 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 대체 가능성, 보완 가능성, 상대적 비용 이점, 지각된 합치성, 집단 규범이 원본 콘텐츠에 대한 저항의도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 집단 규범은 결과 변인에 가장 큰 설명력을 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 대체 및 보완 가능성 요인은 모형 설명력을 높이는 가장 중요한 요인인 것이 확인되었다. 본 연구는 원본 콘텐츠의 저작권을 보호하는 동시에 재가공형 숏폼 영상 콘텐츠를 윤리적 이용에 대한 실무적 함의를 제공한다.</p><p><br>The prevalence of re-edited short-form video content, particularly on platforms like YouTube, has been on the rise. However, the creation of such content often involves unauthorized use of original materials, leading to legal issues such as copyright infringement. This study investigates how user perceptions of re-edited short-form video content influence their resistance intention toward original content. Predictive factors include user motivation, substitution and complementarity, innovation, and normative factors. A survey was conducted among individuals with experience using both original and re-edited content, followed by hierarchical regression analysis. The findings reveal that substitution, complementarity, relative cost advantage, perceived compatibility, and group norms significantly affect resistance intention toward original content. Notably, group norms exhibited the strongest explanatory power for the outcome variable. Furthermore, substitution and complementarity factors were identified as the most critical contributors to model explanation. This study provides practical implications for promoting ethical use of re-edited short-form video content while protecting the copyrights of original content creators.</p>
